No doubt, every homeschool family will need lessons for health units. I just found a pretty amazing site. It's an interactive Guided Tour of the Visible Human. It contains over 18,000 digitized sections and plenty of 2D images for the 3D body, with annotations.
This is the kind of site that will not only teach your child about how the human body operates and looks, but will also help her make wiser choices concerning her health - a matter which will be very important later when she's looking for cheap health insurance.
Use this site as a reference for your homeschool health unit study or as a supplement to your current health and hygiene curriculum.
