Thanksgiving trips
I'm sure many of you will be going "over the river and through the woods" this year for Thanksgiving. I know we will. This was always my father's favorite holiday because the family all got together to celebrate.
Sometimes there would be a few people missing. Other obligations kept them away. But for the most part, there would be between 30 and 40 people crowded into my parents' small home, spilling out onto the front and back porches when weather permitted and spreading out into other rooms of the house.
For us, for a few years, it meant making good use of car accessories like lap trays, travel toys, and coolers that plugged into the cigarette lighter. See, we traveled with children, which means you must have plenty for them to do and plenty of snacks to take along.
What about you? Do you travel for the holidays?
