The sights and sites of Egypt

Egypt is a land steeped in history. The country was a world leader in the time of Moses and has been an integral part of history ever since. The Egypt of today is very modern, though the historical landmarks are still there for tourists to view and enjoy.

If you travel there, a city such as Fayum Egypt gives you a good mix of both old and new with its modern structures and trade markets mixed comfortably together.



As you can see, this oasis city of Fayum has a little of everything. What a wonderful way to study history - by visiting there! Check out other locations in Egypt and see if there isn't someplace that really appeals to your travel side as well as your history student side.
