Online free English lessons

This site is intended for ESL classes. While they do refer to a book, this could still be a good beginning to learn English on your own if it's not your first language already. They have 50 lessons within 10 units and include a "Listen to it" feature. You will need to download Shockwave and Real One media player, both free downloads.

The lessons are arranged in a logical and functional order. You will learn English that you can really use in everyday life.
