Life cycle of the mosquito
Spring and Fall are the two times of year when mosquitos are particularly abundant. At least that's true for my part of the country. With West Nile Virus a real threat lately and people even dying from it, I thought it would be a good time to study the Life Cycle of the Mosquito.

These plans will guide your student through the life cycle of the mosquito from egg to adult. It will help your student understand the habits of this biting insect and could help you learn how to prevent them from reproducing and spreading the deadly virus.
This is recommended for grade 7.
